Campaign literature:
- Protect and improve green space
it is important to safeguard our current green space and make it more functional for our community. Providing an environment where people can enjoy nature within the town of Amherstburg. - Honest and Hardworking
Growing up on a farm, working through university, and now caring for three boys I have learned to be resourceful. Honesty and determination are just some of the values I will bring the town council. - Enhance the Lives for Everyone in our Community
Working as a caregiver I know how much our seniors provide to our community. Being a mother, my kids teach me new things every day. Amherstburg has so much potential to make this place accessible and enjoyable for all ages.
Who am I?
I’m Molly Allaire. I am 32 years old, work as a caregiver for seniors, wife, mother of 3 boys, an dow I’m running for council.
Why am I running?
Simple! I want all kids to have access to playgrounds, basketball nets, running tracks, etc. I feel that the Town of Amherstburg needs to refocus funds to projects that benefit everyone in town.
I made about 200 ‘Save jack Purdie Park Signs’ and neighbours supported the cause and put them up. There is officially no housing going up in the park, but now I want playgrounds, basketball nets, pathways, trees!
Thank you for taking the time to read this if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas I would love to hear them.
If you would like to support by putting a sign on your lawn, feel free to contact me.

CBC News What are the top issues facing your municipality? Financial problems are obvious for Amherstburg. I also feel lack of communication and community engagement. If elected I want to make our meetings more transparent and encourage more ideas from residents.
