First vistamherstburg.ca posted two maps for closed streets weekends: identical.
Then two contradictory parking/no parking signs.
Now the town site posts two candidates’ listings: listing one, listing two.
Councillor Patricia Simone promised to answer questions when she campaigned in 2018, and she registered to run for re-election in 2022 but she still not answered questions from March 16; on March 28, she said she would review the questions and respond as soon as possible about Simone’s Notice of Motion To Redefine Town Name.
Councillor Simone promised ‘to be available to answer any questions you may have’ during her 2018 campaign to become a councillor, repeated in A Look Back – Candidate Patricia Simone.
As mentioned in Mayor DiCarlo Responds for Councillor Simone, questions were not answered.
I’m glad town hall granted my request to post the candidates’ contact info but links to some of their websites are broken and need to be fixed.
Instead of the usual 6 pm meeting, this ‘special council meeting’ will start at 5 pm; view the full agenda on the town’s website.

This is a step up to the Perch Pit located at the Waterfront Ice Cream store and I can’t see accessible tables.

There are stairs to Waterfront Ice Cream and a difficult to grasp door handle

Downtown Amherstburg signs during ‘Open Air’ weekends are confusing. This is a no parking sign in a no parking zone in front of the post office that you can’t get to anyway.
This sign contradicts itself: no parking Friday at 3 pm but you can park until 6 pm Friday. Neither has any by-law number stated.
Continuing with photos from my downtown tour, the stairs at the back of the Park House Museum are how people access the Music Off The Back Porch events.
